Webinar: The opportunities for isolated self-consumption solar power supply with batteries in Mexico

Ana Muradás

José María Lujambio

Partner and Energy Director

Patricia Tatto

VP America ATA Renewables / President MERM [Moderadora]

The declining cost of renewable energy generation and energy storage systems (ESS) offer new and very economical isolated self-consumption energy options to self-supply consumers who have traditionally relied on diesel and fuel oil.

Isolated supply provides the possibility of generating and selling energy directly to users without the intervention of a supplier and with freely agreed prices. The generation and sale are done without transmitting the energy through the energy grid as the generation is done next to load centers.

In this webinar, we will analyze real successful cases of isolated power supply projects in Mexico.

– Learn about the design, sizing, and LCoE of hybridized renewable projects with storage and microgrid capabilities

Study the project pipeline for isolated self-consumption projects, from specific milestones to project duration

Analyze the contractual models of isolated self-consumption projects in Mexico and current projects

Hear real cases of isolated supply projects in Mexico, how they were designed and built, how they are operating, and where the opportunities are to replicate the business model

Speakers:

  • Ana Muradás, Sales & Business Engineer Director, Quartux
  • José María Lujambio, Partner & Energy Director, Chacheaux, Cavazos & Newton
  • Patricia Tatto, Vice President America’s (ATA Renewables) & President (MERM)
