When discussing renewable energy, we often think of wind and solar power. Recently, hydrogen has also become a prominent contender. Hydrogen is increasingly recognized as a promising clean energy source. While there are various methods to produce hydrogen, what about the hydrogen that naturally exists? This is where white or natural hydrogen comes into play. Also known as “gold” or “geologic” hydrogen, it is naturally produced or found in the Earth’s crust.

Preliminary data is promising, natural hydrogen production could be up to five times cheaper than green hydrogen, with minimal carbon emissions. Significant reserves are expected to exist underground, particularly in the US, Australia, and Europe. Estimates suggest these reserves could contain between 250-450 million tons of hydrogen—up to four times the current global usage.

Join our webinar to:

  • Understand natural hydrogen: gain insights into the potential of natural hydrogen for renewable energy projects.
  • Learn about the challenges and opportunities of utilizing natural hydrogen and its impact on your business.
  • Hear a real case study: discover the story of Bourakébougou, a village in western Mali where natural hydrogen was discovered accidentally and is now used to generate electricity for the community.

Don’t miss this opportunity to deepen your understanding of white hydrogen and its role in the future of clean energy.

Speakers:

  • Chris Atkinson, Chairman, Helios Aragón
  • Owain Jackson, CEO, H2Au
  • Aaron Mattson, Founder and CEO, Mafic Consulting Group
