“Optimisation through Digitalisation: Our Energy Storage Path”

In Wärtsilä’s video, we will provide a company overview and track record, followed by a discussion around the change in baseload from conventional to RES from today to 2050. Particular focus will be given to how Spain is tackling energy storage today, focusing on Battery storage solutions and including the key takeaways from the draft of the Energy Storage strategy. We will also detail how digitalisation plays a significant role in energy storage and its applications, with a focus on three case studies where digitalisation through Wärtsilä’s GEMS has been successfully implemented.
