Cómo superar los 19GW de autoconsumo para el 2030

Full agenda of the workshop

In the last four years, the annual installed power in Spain has experienced astonishing growth, multiplying by 26 in this period, going from 101 MW to 2.649 MW installed per year.

Despite this rapid growth and after 2022 with record numbers; The challenges to achieving the PNIEC objective of 19GW of installed power in 2030 are still numerous. For example, tensions in the supply chain, heterogeneity in documentation requirements for access and connection, among others. In this session we make a roadmap so that self-consumption exceeds 19 GW of the PNIEC.

  • Listen to a detailed analysis of self-consumption figures and growth predictions in the coming years
  • Consider how the main challenges that hinder the growth of self-consumption can be overcome.
  • Learn how to identify growth opportunities in the coming years so that your commercial strategy and business model is in line with the enormous growth of the sector in the coming years

Speakers:

  • María Colom: Head of decentralized PV at Engie
  • Gonzalo Ubieto: Director of business development at Recap Energy
  • Joaquín Sánchez: Distributed Generation – Business Development at Repsol
  • Remigio Abad: CEO of Greenvolt Next Spain
  • Isabel Guedea: CEO of ENDEF Solar Solutions (Moderator)

To achieve and exceed the objectives of the PNIEC, it is essential that measures be adopted to facilitate the deployment of self-consumption, in line with those adopted at the European level through REPowerEU. In this session we explore the key aspects of the processing, from regulation to permits, and the various financing alternatives that make the growth of self-consumption projects possible.

  • Discover how Royal Decree 244/2019 updates the communication formats and protocols used by the different agents participating in self-consumption to ensure effectiveness and compliance with the regulatory framework.
  • Find out how and who can access different financial options such as Next Generation European funds or preferential financing lines.
  • Access competitive financing from banks and energy companies that accelerate the acquisition of funds for industrial self-consumption projects

Speakers:

  • Piet Holtrop: Lawyer at Holtrop
  • Rebeca González: Energy and sustainability at BBVA
  • Diego López Chan: Executive Director, Renewable Energy Investments at Sinia & BancoSabadell

The maximum use of self-consumption occurs with the temporal coincidence of energy generation and consumption. The incorporation of battery storage systems provides flexibility and management capacity to systems of this type. However, adding batteries to a self-consumption project requires additional support from the client to assess and define the use case of the battery and the economic performance it provides depending on their consumption profile.

  • Learn how to analyze energy consumption patterns to identify demand peaks, fluctuations, and the need to stabilize energy supply with storage systems
  • Explore how different batteries are integrated into self-consumption systems that use renewable energy sources and the economic benefits that customers can obtain
  • Listen to a success story integrating batteries in a self-consumption installation, and its results

Speakers:

  • Luis Navarro: CEO at Solar Cover
  • Darío Gallego: Field Applications Engineer at Enphase
  • Mikel Pino: Head of new business and innovation at IQON
  • Goodwe

More and more companies with different energy profiles are joining the industrial self-consumption sector. More sophisticated and effective approaches need to be implemented to manage your energy consumption. This involves the adoption of different renewable energies, the formation of energy communities between companies or the application of innovative technologies. In this session, we will explore real success stories and innovative technologies that will drive continued growth in this field.

  • Learn from real cases of projects that diversify or even hybridize self-consumption technologies, such as wind, hydraulic and/or biogas projects
  • Considers energy communities and shared self-consumption - with and without storage - in the industrial sector as one of the fastest growing market niches in the coming years.
  • Values the technological improvement of self-consumption equipment and how it makes projects that were unthinkable in the past competitive

Speakers:

  • Isabel Mas: Director of operations and energy transition at Grupo Enercoop
  • Alexis Lozano: Island Director of Energy and Climate at the Cabildo de Gran Canaria
